Cabinet Approves Scheme for Conduct of Census of India 2027

Census of India 2027–The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the proposal for conducting Census of India 2027 at a cost of Rs. 11,718.24 crore. This will be India’s first completely digital census and the 16th national census since the exercise began.
