Brief Description of Recruitment
SJVN Limited (Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam), a Nav Ratna Public Sector Undertaking and a Joint Venture of the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh, has released Advertisement No. 125/2025 for Apprenticeship Training. The notification invites online applications for 100 seats across Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprentice categories. Only candidates who are domicile of Himachal Pradesh are eligible to apply. Note: Vacant seats may be diverted to other trades/disciplines. 25% of seats are earmarked for candidates from SJVN’s Project Affected Families (PAF) and Areas (PAA).
Stipend & Training Details

Training Duration: One Year.
Employment after Training: No extension of training or employment is guaranteed by SJVN after completion.
Domicile: Only candidates domiciled in Himachal Pradesh are eligible.
Selection Process & Merit Criteria
There will be NO INTERVIEW. Selection will be based purely on a Merit List prepared from the marks provided in the application. The weightage for merit calculation is as follows:

Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie in total marks, the candidate older in age will be placed higher.
Important Eligibility: Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in SJVN are NOT ELIGIBLE. Candidates with a gap of more than 5 years between declaration of result and commencement of training are also not eligible.

Candidates must apply ONLINE ONLY through the SJVN website. No other mode of application is accepted.

- Find and click on the advertisement link for “Notification for Apprenticeship Training (Advt. No. 125/2025)”.
- Read the complete notification carefully before proceeding.
- Click on the ‘Apply Online’ link and complete the registration process.
- Fill the online application form with accurate personal, educational, and communication details. Apply for only ONE trade/discipline of your choice.
- Upload scanned copies of:
- Latest passport-size photograph (less than 500 KB, .jpg/.jpeg)
- Signature (less than 500 KB, .jpg/.jpeg)
- Pay the application fee online (if applicable).
- Review all details carefully before final submission.
- After successful submission, take a printout of the application form for your records. Do not send any hard copy to SJVN.
Note: Use a valid and active personal email ID & mobile number for registration, as all future correspondence (call letters, merit list intimation) will be sent there.
