The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ajmer invites online applications for recruitment to a total of 12 posts of Protection Officer under the Women & Child Development Department. 1. Essential Educational Qualification:

  • Law Graduate (LL.B) OR Master in Social Work (M.S.W.) from a University established by law in India.
  • Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.

2. Other Provisions: Candidates appearing in the final year of the required qualification can also apply provisionally, but they must provide proof of passing before the examination.

Key Points:

  • All questions will be of Multiple Choice Type (Objective).
  • Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, 1/3 (one-third) of the marks prescribed for that question will be deducted.
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% in each paper (with relaxation for PwBD and Ex-Servicemen as per rules).

  2. Read the “Instructions for Applicants”, detailed advertisement, and related service rules carefully.
  3. For first-time applicants, complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the Rajasthan SSO Portal: https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in. This requires details like name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, secondary exam details, and Aadhaar card.
  4. After OTR, login to the SSO portal, go to Citizen Apps (G2C), select the Recruitment Portal, and apply using your OTR number.
  5. Fill the online application form for “Protection Officer Exam 2025”, upload scanned photograph, signature, and left thumb impression.
  6. Pay the applicable One Time Registration (OTR) fee online.
  7. Submit the form and take a printout of the submitted application for future reference.

Caution: Details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and Gender entered during OTR cannot be changed later. Verify these with your educational documents before proceeding.
