An Examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 12th April, 2026 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 157th Course and for the 119th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 1st January, 2027. Candidates are required to apply online by using the website https://upsconline.nic.in. The Online Applications can be filled upto 06:00 PM of 30.12.2025.

Fee of Rs. 100/- (excepting SC/ST candidates/female candidates / Wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs specified in Note 2 who are exempted). Payable by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking of any Bank.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Citizen of India, or subject of Nepal, or person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries.
Educational Qualification:
(i) For Army Wing of NDA: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern or equivalent.
(ii) For Air Force, Naval Wings of NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Candidates appearing in the 12th Class can also apply.

🏃 Physical Eligibility & Measurement Test

Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission as per guidelines given in Appendix-III of the notification. Detailed medical standards for Army, Navy, and Air Force are provided in the notification.

  1. Apply Online only at https://upsconline.nic.in.
  2. Go through General instructions, Profile/Module-wise instructions and instructions for uploading of documents.
  3. Register/Login using Universal Registration Number (URN).
  4. Fill the Common Application Form (CAF) and the Examination specific module (including fees and centre etc.).
  5. Upload required documents, photograph and capture live photograph as per instructions.
  6. Pay the application fee (if applicable) through prescribed online modes.
  7. Submit the application before the last date. No corrections allowed after submission.

⚖️ Mode of Selection

Selection based on Written Examination conducted by UPSC followed by Intelligence and Personality Test (SSB Interview) for qualified candidates. For Air Force, candidates will also have to qualify Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS).
