Brief Description of Examination

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani has officially released the Information Bulletin for HTET 2026. The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is a mandatory qualification for candidates who intend to become teachers for Classes I-V (Level-1), VI-VIII (Level-2), and IX-XII (Level-3/PGT) in schools of the Haryana Government. The online application process for the pen-paper based examination is now active.

Validity of HTET Certificate: Lifetime from the date of issuance. Candidates can appear any number of times to qualify or to improve their score.

Eligibility Criteria (Minimum Educational Qualification)

Important: Candidates appearing in the final year of their requisite degree/diploma are also eligible to apply. However, appointment will be subject to final qualification.

How To Apply Online

Interested and eligible candidates must apply ONLINE ONLY through the official HTET portal. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Visit the official HTET website: https://htet.eapplynow.com or www.bseh.org.in.
  2. Read the complete ‘Information Bulletin’ (Guidelines) carefully before proceeding.
  3. Click on the link for ‘Online Application for HTET 2026’.
  4. Complete the registration and fill the online application form with correct personal, educational, and level/subject choice details. Use a single registration for one or multiple levels.
  5. Upload scanned images of your latest coloured photograph (3.5cm x 4.5cm, white background), signature, and left thumb impression in prescribed JPG format and size.
  6. Pay the requisite application fee online as per your category and level choice.
  7. After successful fee payment, take a printout of the Confirmation Page for your records. Do not send it to the Board office.
  8. If needed, make corrections in the application within the specified window (04-05 Jan 2026).

Important: Download the admit card from the website when notified. Admit cards will NOT be sent by post.
