🎂 Age Limit
As on 01/01/2026: Minimum 18 Years – Maximum 28 Years.
Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules for SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and other categories.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality: Must be Indian citizen.
2. Educational Qualification:
- STA-B (561 posts): B.Sc. degree OR 3-year Diploma in relevant Engineering/Technology (AICTE recognized).
- Tech-A (203 posts): 10th standard (Matriculation) passed + ITI Certificate in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT recognized).
3. Crucial Date: All eligibility criteria (age, qualification, etc.) are determined as on 01 January 2026.
⚖️ Mode of Selection / Result Basis
- Tier-I (Computer Based Test): Common exam for all candidates. Merit-based shortlisting for next stage.
- Tier-II (Discipline/Trade Specific):
- For STA-B: Descriptive/subject-specific CBT
- For Tech-A: Trade/Skill Test (qualifying)
- Document Verification: Verification of all original certificates.
- Medical Examination: Must be medically fit. Night blindness or colour blindness leads to disqualification.
- Final Merit List: Based on Tier-I + Tier-II performance, subject to medical fitness.
