Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized University:
- Bachelor of Planning
- Post Graduate Diploma Course in Remote Sensing and GIS (Specialization in Urban and Regional Studies)
- Master in Planning
- Master in Town Planning
- Master in Regional Planning
- Master in Urban Planning
- Master in City Planning
- Master in Country Planning
- Equivalent qualification recognized by the Government
Age Limit (as on 1st August 2025)
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age:
- Unreserved (Male): 37 years
- Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class (Male & Female) & Unreserved (Female): 40 years
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (Male & Female): 42 years
- Bihar Government Employees: 5 years (maximum 5 attempts)
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years additional
- Ex-servicemen: 3 years + service period
- Candidates who were eligible from 1st August 2022 to 1st August 2025 are also eligible
