Job Responsibilities

• Carry out fabrication and welding work using MIG/ARC welding as per job requirements
• Read and understand basic fabrication drawings and measurements
• Cut, fit, align, and weld metal components for structures, frames, and assemblies
• Ensure weld quality and dimensional accuracy through visual inspection and finishing
• Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and maintain tools and work area properly

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1-4 years of experience as a Fabrication Welder
• Knowledge of fabrication tools, welding machines, and measuring instruments
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• ITI/ welding certification preferred
• Physically fit for factory or site work

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform metal welding and fabrication using MIG welding processes to produce high-quality joints and assemblies as per specifications, blueprints, and work orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on various metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.) as per job requirements
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders accurately
• Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, aligning, and setting up fixtures
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently to meet production quality and targets
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, accuracy, and compliance with standards
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area in a clean and organized manner
• Follow safety procedures, company policies, and industry best practices at all times
• Report any mechanical issues or material shortages to supervisors

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years as a MIG welder or similar welding role
• Welding certification preferred (ITI, vocational training, or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of MIG welding techniques, equipment, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret drawings & specifications
• Good eye for detail and quality-focused welding execution
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and ability to work in industrial environments

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with fabrication and assembly in manufacturing or construction
• Familiarity with welding safety regulations (PPE usage, hazard handling)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
